Im based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire.

I love photography and for the past few years my website has showcased the pictures that Ive taken.

But there is more to me than that, before I picked up a camera, I wrote and typed.

Thats why I have taken the decision to showcase some of that here.

So over the near future you shall see more appearing on this site, various new sections will be tried and tested.

I dont try to be the best writer in the world but as with photography, it's something I very much enjoy and hopefully you will too.

Explore the site and in the B12 writing section you will find film reviews, sections of my unpublished autobiography, and general rants and raves about all things that end up in my mind.

I have to be creative in life otherwise I would go insane.

Feedback is always welcome and appreciated, do use the 'contact me' section to tell me anything and everything that you want about what you find on this site or just tell me your own thoughts.

News:

Well its now 2010 and one of the promises to myself was that I work on this site more than I did in 2009.

I aim to stick to that promise. And hope you stick with me.

February. Sadly I havent been working on this site that much of late, I still aim to get there but work has been keeping me distracted for now. There are many of the links of this site that dont lead anywhere. Fixing that is just a time issue for me and as a page is updated, the link should work.

Be patient but for now enjoy the photos that are on here and feedback is always welcome and appreciated.

Photographic Projects

Seasons are great to photograph. You can take the same locaiton and shoot it at least four times a year. This is what I do with a local park. And heres Autumn in Whittaker Park

Its that time of year again when my friend Martin Bissett comes out for photos. We took in some local locations which have sentimental reasons for Martin and as usual, I captured several images of the man himself.

Horses

Deciding to not waste a day off work, I ventured out and took some photos of nearby horses. After an invitation back by the owner, I did a second shoot in July and the results of both shoots can be found here.

The plans are for this website to house video clips at some point. Having recently completed assembly of a new video editing machine, I hope to put that to great use and be able to supply DVDs of my projects.
